Installing Windows XP on a Dell 3750

This happened to me a couple of months ago (like March 2012). I bought a new Dell 3750 laptop and it came with Windows 7. I didn’t want to use this operating system, so I got myself into the task of installing Windows XP and finding the appropiate drivers, which actually cost me quite a lot of time. I looked and looked and participated actively in this forum on Tom’s Hardware:

To cut a long story short, here are two download links for them:

– The full setup files: http://www.hachete.com/files/3750XP.rar

– Just the drivers AS IS:  http://www.hachete.com/files/drivers3750XP.rar

  1. Hello, I just wanted to tell you that I had downloaded your driver packs.
I am very excited and will try them today. I will tell you how it goes.
This is very nice of you to supply this. It will probably save me tens of hours.
    Have a good day!

  2. Hello again, I managed to get XP to run pretty decently.
I read and search but could not install the driver for the nVidia GT 525m.
At least I have the Intel HD graphics working in native resolution.
So, thank you for your work and take care!
